A postponed unveiling ceremony in the time of Coronavirus

My Google calendar shows that today, April 12, we will gather at a cemetery in Toronto for the unveiling ceremony of my mother's headstone.


Google is wrong.


The ceremony has been postponed. The novel Coronavirus pandemic came instead.


I personally know people who have postponed unveiling ceremonies; who have sat shivah alone; who couldn't make a parent's funeral.
